REMEMBER to make a wish before you read the prayer. That's all you have to do. There is nothing attached. Just share this with people and see what happens on the fourth day.

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be confident knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every on

Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold ~ Helen Keller.

I read this statement and thought how very true it is.I spent the first 55 years of my life being fearful, fearful of all most every thing. I had a passive aggressive personality and I now know that most people found it at minimum annoying to spend any time around me. I did notice that I had no friends but I attributed that to the fact that I wanted to be invisible, unacknowledged, let others always choose, and yes I was intimidated by every one.Not a very nice life? But I did feel safe.
It wasn't until I found out how I affected others, or how they perceived me that I was able to change. In 2000 I was taking a life skills coaching course. Because I thought I could help people. lol. there I found out what people thought of me.
We were doing part of the course where You have to give the rest of the group information on how they affect you..I thought oh boy this is going to be good because now I will have validation on how good of a person I am.
My turn came and I sat in the center of the circle, the first person told me I dominate all the conversations with long stories that most of the time did not pertain to the subject. The next told me I never gave an answer, just you choose.and so on and so on, until th last person , Her name was Robin and I thought she really like me. Her words were"I am so glad I met you, because I never, never, want to be like you. I will remember you always as an example of some one I never want to be".
Sound vicious, well it felt worse, but the lesson was about taking information as just that, information, to your head, and I of course took it to heart, and I was devastated, I wanted to quit, run away. leave the class. I never spoke to any one after that class for the rest of the day. I went home and told my daughter I was quitting. they were mean, not fare, My daughter told me to do what I wanted. Some how during the night I must have seen what they were trying to tell me. I went back and read my notes on personalities, and if you look under any list for that behavior you would have seen that I was every one of them.
I will not say I changed over night, but I did start working on my self, it is still in progress but now I am honestly  working on being assertive, and balanced. I know I am much more likable, but I still tend to be a loner, and some times people think I am cold and stuck up, but if I let them see me as I really am they know I am a very warm and easy to be with person. As I said I am still and always will be a work in progress.

Borrowed from Elena Chernysheva's notes

An inspirational quotation from Martha Graham in response to a statement
made by a friend in 1943. The friend had said that she had the desire to be
exceptional, but did not believe that she could be.

"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is
translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in
all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never
exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have
it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor
how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours
clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to
believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware
to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is
pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a
queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and
makes us more alive than the others."

~ Martha Graham, 1943

Robin's note
Having just read the lost symbol by Dan Brow, I really  believe that are part of our creator, and our creator does want us to be exceptional

From a post by T2T, excellent advice for every one

Tomorrow may not look the same as today no matter how much you try to control it. In a sense, everything you have right now, in this moment, must be enough. You might make the mistake of not appreciating something right now that could be gone tomorrow…it could happen…it has happened before. A good friend might move away, a relationship might end, your job might not be there, your health may take a turn for the worst, a loved one might pass on…it could happen…it has happened before. I’m not the prophet of doom and gloom, I’m a realist, a pragmatic person who is urging you to take a good hard look around you and to deeply appreciate the most important things in your life…in this moment, that you may well be taking for granted. Be happy, be contented, be appreciative, be grateful, flourish, enjoy and prosper with the abundance you already have. It’s a choice, it’s your choice. If you feel you haven’t enough already, then maybe, just maybe, you are looking in the wrong places. Attach to the idea of living well moment-to-moment and appreciating it to the fullest. That’s an attachment that can do you no harm.

Robin adds:
It took me a long time to understand this information, I always lived in yesterday, and did mind games about tomorrow. I for lack of better words ignored what I had in front of my face, alway there was the thought When I feel better , or when I have enough money, or When I have the time, always something that I attached a when to.
Now I live in the NOW for as much as I can. Yes I plan on tomorrow and save up for it. But I live with no regrets. I enjoy today, and what is front of me this moment. I can honestly say, my wants and needs have decreased dramatically, and I am not always looking for better, or change. those I deal with when and if they happen

I am finding more and more help

It is amazing how many blogs, sites just on face book there are. For so many years I truly felt alone with my beliefs and thoughts. Now I see that there  are many people who believe as I do. I guess I may have also been looking for validation as well as confirmation that I am not off my little rock. Yester day I posted 100 beliefs, and you know what while they were not written by me I agree with every one of them and cheered when I saw some other as they resonate in my heart. I never felt that my beliefs were wrong, but rather just mine and every one else had theirs. I very seldom told any one of them in fear that they might ridicule  or even worse laugh.I have a much tougher skin that before, and can take criticize m not as I have done something wrong, but rather as how some one else might think or believe. I make no demands that you believe as I do, but ask that you respect   they are mine.
Now every day is a new adventure, and I haven't been this happy, and satisfied for a very long time, Life is GRAND

Found this on Positivity Positive, great page of FB
