Tomorrow may not look the same as today no matter how much you try to control it. In a sense, everything you have right now, in this moment, must be enough. You might make the mistake of not appreciating something right now that could be gone tomorrow…it could happen…it has happened before. A good friend might move away, a relationship might end, your job might not be there, your health may take a turn for the worst, a loved one might pass on…it could happen…it has happened before. I’m not the prophet of doom and gloom, I’m a realist, a pragmatic person who is urging you to take a good hard look around you and to deeply appreciate the most important things in your life…in this moment, that you may well be taking for granted. Be happy, be contented, be appreciative, be grateful, flourish, enjoy and prosper with the abundance you already have. It’s a choice, it’s your choice. If you feel you haven’t enough already, then maybe, just maybe, you are looking in the wrong places. Attach to the idea of living well moment-to-moment and appreciating it to the fullest. That’s an attachment that can do you no harm.
Robin adds:
It took me a long time to understand this information, I always lived in yesterday, and did mind games about tomorrow. I for lack of better words ignored what I had in front of my face, alway there was the thought When I feel better , or when I have enough money, or When I have the time, always something that I attached a when to.
Now I live in the NOW for as much as I can. Yes I plan on tomorrow and save up for it. But I live with no regrets. I enjoy today, and what is front of me this moment. I can honestly say, my wants and needs have decreased dramatically, and I am not always looking for better, or change. those I deal with when and if they happen
