10 ways that may help motivate you for positive change…

(1) Create a vision of what you want to achieve and live into it by visualizing the outcome on a daily basis.
(2) Make quick decisions. When we dwell on any certain topic or choice, we may well end up talking ourselves out of doing neither.
(3) Baby steps. Next task you have to complete that has you zombieing around (it’s a real word)…break it up into smaller more enticing tasks and start moving.
(4) Write it down. I don’t know if you have ever wrote out your goals the night before, (how would I, I don’t sit outside your window at night) but it is an excellent way to motivate yourself into getting things done. Seriously…try it!
(5) Change your environment. You may just need a different set of stimuli to motivate your passion. Do something different today and see how you feel.
(6) Contemplate your death. Imagining yourself on your death-bed should give you a clearer perspective of your life. Hopefully this will motivate you to get things done while you still have some years left in you
(7) Read positive material. Flooding your mind with positive information will keep you motivated.
(8) Write out 10 – 15 of your greatest qualities and review them every night before sleep and every morning before you rise.
(9) Face your fears. I know this is a big one, but let’s be honest, it’s the sure-fire way to getting your heart racing and will definitely lead to growth. Remember, we all have fears and you’re a long time dead.
(10) Stop the internal dialogue. Our self talk is more negative than positive by default. We are born into a society of worrier’s, complainers and we are constantly bombarded by the media with the most disgusting and self defeatist headlines. No wonder it’s hard to get motivated listening to all this crap day in and day out. Pick one day this week to monitor your self-talk and you will see what I’m talking about. Weed out the negative thoughts by replacing with positive ones
